Persian cat overview

One of the first recognized breed groups, many different colours and patterns. Silver coloured Persian cats are also known as Chinchillas. The colourpointed Persians are also known as a Himalayans or Colourpoint cats. Persians were already recognized by the 1900s. Persians are generally a quiet and
placid breed. They need daily grooming to prevent knotting.
