Alaskan Malamute overview
An ancient breed originating in the United States. Used for hunting and as a draught animal by the Malamute Inuit from whom it takes its name. Powerful and very strong, this dog has great stamina and thrives on activity. Dignified and affectionate, but not playful, they are not suitable for the urban environment and will require a lot of exercise.
