Chow overview
The origins of the Chow are unknown but he is thought to come from China. Originally used as a source of food in Mongolia and Manchuria, its pelt was also used for clothing.
The Chow dog has a distinctive black tongue.
Very much a one person dog, can have a tendency to snap. Not always easy to obedience train, or good with children, its coat needs constant grooming.
