French Bulldog overview
The French Bulldog originated in France as a cross between small examples of the British Bulldog and the French Terriers, they were used for ratting or as a companion by Parisians.
An opinionated breed, they make a good guard dog, but are also good with children and other dogs. The French Bulldog requires little grooming and is suitable for the urban environment but not good in hotter climates.
