Komondor overview
The Komondor is an ancient Hungarian breed used to guard sheep. The puppy is brought up with the flock of sheep and is shorn at the same time as the flock. The Komondor has a strong, heavy, corded coat which requires regular attention. A good guard dog, although not suitable to the urban environment or hotter climates.
