Lhasa Apso overview
The Lhasa Apso is an ancient breed that originated in Tibet as a companion for the Tibetan monks as well as an indoor guard dog.
Bred for its temperament it is very good with both children and other dogs, and retains its instincts as a guard dog, barking at unfamiliar sights and sounds. Its size makes it suitable to the urban environment, and it likes hotter climates. The straight, heavy coat requires very regular grooming.
