Old English Sheepdog overview
The Old English Sheepdog originated in Great Britain for use as a sheep herder as the name suggests. They are good with children, suitable for the urban environment and a good guard dog, the breed does not like hot climates and hard shaggy coat requires regular daily grooming.
Old English Sheepdogs require a lot of exercise, and early training is necessary to control their boisterous nature and demands for affection.
